Condition; corners of spine top & bottom are shelf-scuffed corners, nubbed, spine is sun darkened. Page edges are slightly deckled with some reader bending whiich has loosened some pages but none missing. All illustrations have tissue guard. Cover is beatifully illustrated and framed in a bright gilt design, there is a stain across the cover on close inspection. Foxing in places throughout plates remain unblemished. Stories are from across the World. Loose page identical to cover design.  Som of the stories will be unknown to some.
