This book is one of the first where the author, Stephen Reiss, has explored Cuyp's work which has been grossly overlooked. First edition 1975, published by A. Zemmer, Ltd. London. This book includes twelve good size colour plates but sadly the rest of the 120 further works are in b/w. The book is in good condition, Black boards are clean and bright with gilt lettering only along spine; the d/j is also good, only showing shelf scuffing. Pages are all clean & tight with no foxing.

This book also contains other work by artists who were essential in the development of Cuyp's artistic talents. There is a valueable check-list within, which includes details recording the last known location of the artists works used within this book.
