Book has no introduction page instead starts and continues with his drawings throughout. Modigilani shows he is able to capture women in various poses with sensitivity, gently revealing their true feminity although in the time of painting/ drawing they were considered highly controversal. Especially in 1917, his first solo exhibition in Paris was closed down by the police for showing a woman's pubic hair. Most of the works included come from private collections or with assistance from museums. The book contains a short biography written by Norbet Wolfe. in English and in German. 64 pgs.
