Boarded in 'milk chocolate coloured'fabric with gilt titleling and  spine; all neat, bright & clean. D/J also in clean unblemished v. good condition. Front board  - on front corner has a few spots of condensation marks but which are not shown on the d/j interior; there is a slightly nubbed corner on the back lower board. From page 80 - 96 there is a 'Colour Gallery' of plates whilst the rest of the text body shows, b/w plates, numerous photographs along with historical facts and various formulas for differing techniques.  A very good book for the professional potter wishing to experiment with old techniques or for the learner interested in the various effects that salt glazing has to offer.
